I was hired to work with Haddad’s design team and printing parters to help bring some consistency to the results they were getting.
The key to solving the problem was understanding the limits at the domestic printers, bringing color separations in house, and providing the printers with a consistent art package. With this revised system in place, submit counts went down, domestic print quality was greatly improved and collaborations with domestic printers were more productive.
These methods were successful and I began working with factories all over the world in a similar capacity. I was able to grow my role into product development travelling overseas regularly to work with sample printers and manufacturers creating custom print technique.
