With NSB 7669, I was tasked with rendering the central skateboard wheel and logo tag  in changing colors and use the other screens to create the tonal imagery around it. I used halftones of black and white already in the print to give the gritty stuff some depth.

The tonal greys in the bricks, the halftone black, and smart flash placement all work together to keep that bright fluorescent center clean and make it pop.
