Gradient blends of color are critical to quality printwork and start with good art files.

Getting pleasing results from a design is difficult without printing experience. An early task at Haddad was finding a way to standardize this technique in our artwork and deploy the solution to a large workgroup of around 20 designers across all brands. There is a lot of turnover in a design pool so my solve needed to be quickly taught to new team members, and easy for them to learn.

I developed production procedures and a training program for design teams to incorporate up to 5 color blends in their work. Within just a few seasons, consistent quality improvements were achieved, resubmits went down, and emboldened design teams began using gradients in more sophisticated ways.
