Photochromic pigments appear or change color when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. The inks react vividly outside in the sun and under blacklikghts.

These are a few of the Photochromic concepts I developed for Haddad. Photochromic designs always work best when treated like simple animation frames. Each state should make sense on its own with the reactive ink creating an optical surprise for the consumer.

Our challenge at retail is to identify and create excitement for the effect when the customer may not be able to see it in the store.
